EDF 821 Metaphysics and Education
A. PURPOSE OF COURSE
The course is intended to cultivate an understanding of metaphysics and the essence of metaphysics to education
B. LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the course, the student should be able to:
a) Explain the nature and development of metaphysics
b) Discuss the metaphysical foundations of education
c) Assess the essence of metaphysics to education

End of semester Examination- 60%
Continuous Assessment Tests 40% (research papers, group work, class presentations and individual assignments
